The tale of the evil fairy

'I love fairies', the child told to her granmother.'Because they are all good'. She wanted to tell her she had a fairy friend, but she was sure her granma wouldn't believe her. But she had seen her, she had spoken with the orange wings little fairy!!
The old woman stared at her for a moment, thinking if it was a good idea to tell something she was told when she was young...
'My lovely child... not all fairies are good.', the child seemed to be worried.'My grandmother told me once that in this forest there was the village of the fairies. They were all really happy, because they could help people that lived in the mountains, just as you and me. But, one day, something happened. A young fairy saw a man that was carrying a lot of wood in his back and, without thinking twice, she went and tried to help him. But she was too young and she couldn't, and all the wood fell on her.'
'And she died?', the child opened her eyes with surprise.
'No, because the bad spirits of the forest listened her crying for help and, as they were really bad, convinced her to become a bad spirit and to help them and not the other fairies. As she was frightened of dying, she agreed, and thus, she became the evil fairy.'
'And what does she do? And how is she?'
'It is said that she goes to the children bedrooms and speaks with them, trying to convince them to go to the forest, so, they get lost and never come back.'
'Oh my God, that is terrible!'
'Yes it is, but the good thing it's that this fairy can be easily identified. Her wings are orange'...
